I work primarily with K–8 students, with a strong focus on elementary grades for reading and math. I also tutor high-school students in subjects I’ve taught — reach out and we can talk through whether I’m the right fit for your child.

Both. I travel to clients’ homes across the Asheville area, and I also do online sessions over video for families who prefer it (or for weeks when schedules don’t line up for in-home).

Most sessions are 60 minutes, but I’m flexible if your family has specific needs. The quality of time is more important than the quantity of time.

Typically, twice a week is the standard cadence, although we can adjust based on your child’s needs.

Yes. The first session is on the house so we can meet, work together, and decide whether it’s a good fit before any money changes hands.

With more than 12 hours’ notice, cancellations are free. Inside 12 hours there’s a 50% charge, and no-shows are charged the full session price. These exist because I’ve already blocked off the time and (often) the drive.

Reach out as soon as you know — same-day phone or text is fine. If it’s more than 12 hours out you’ll have a no-charge reschedule; inside 12 hours the cancellation policy above applies.
